Boyfriend and I go to buy food.

I get Chicken Strips and get an extra set for free via a coupon. I've been kind of excited for this treat.

He gets a large chicken salad that has BBQ sauce on top (ick!). However, he proceeds to tell me to make sure I get BBQ sauce for my thing because he wants to take about 25% of it.

I feel somewhat offended that he didn't ask me if he could have that portion. I would have been glad to had not he just assumed I'd give him whatever he wants.

I just don't like it when someone just assumes what I'll give them instead of politely asking. Is that so wrong of me?

He's angry that I'm being selfish. I don't see why he doesn't see how rude he was in the beginning. Or should it always be assumed that whatever is mine is his, and his is mine? I don't have that mentality though. We're two individual people with our own stuff. Should I learn to not be that way??

Thoughts anyone? (Aside from obesity and grossness please... )
